Détatouage

It’s not uncommon for patients who have had a tattoo to regret it and wish to remove it for personal or professional reasons.

Thanks to new PICO + NANO second medical laser technologies, virtually all colors can be removed or faded without scarring.
How long does it take to remove a tattoo?

Professional tattoos require 6 to 15 sessions, whereas amateur tattoos require only 1 to 5.
Each session should be spaced at least 6 weeks apart, to allow your skin to heal and the sprayed ink to eliminate gradually.

Generally speaking, the number of sessions depends on the size of the tattoo, the density of the ink, the color and type of ink, and its depth in the skin.

What happens during a laser tattoo removal session at Dr. Samama’s practice?
You will lie down on a specially adapted chair in a reassuring atmosphere. Your make-up will be removed and Doctor Julien Samama will disinfect your skin.

Those present in the treatment room must wear protective eyewear for the duration of the session. These can be borrowed from the practice.
You may experience a “warm tingling” sensation. This sensation is transient and lasts only as long as the laser treatment.

With each shot, you’ll hear a slight clicking sound that corresponds to the destruction of the pigment. A whitening effect (a sign of effectiveness) will appear instantly, and a secondary redness will disappear within a few days – this is the time it takes for your epidermis to regenerate.

Rarely, there may be some bleeding, crusting and the appearance of transitory “bubbles”, which usually disappear within a week.
